• Winter Time in Saline

  • This year's 45th Annual Parade & Tree Lighting have been cancelled due to COVID.

2020 Parade Theme:  Home for the Holidays

This year the Chamber offers an exciting opportunity in the Winter Festivities.  Keeping with the long-standing tradition, the Chamber will once again partner with the City of Saline & KeyBank to light the downtown Tree outside of KeyBank on the corner of Michigan Ave and N. Ann Arbor Street.   This year the tree lighting will be Tuesday, December 1st at 6p.  The tree lighting is celebrated with festive music all while you enjoy cookies and hot cocoa.  Dress warm as we will be outdoors the whole evening.

The fun continues on Saturday, December 5th at 5:30p when the 45th Annual Winter Parade comes to Saline. This year's parade will be a first for Saline as the Chamber presents a drive-thru parade on Thibault Lane, between Saline Middle School & Liberty School. The parade welcomes floats, vehicles (including a hot air balloon!), bands, twirlers, dancers, and animals.

The parade drive-thru will see attendees lining up on Woodland Dr as Saline Police Department works with organizing the flow of the traffic.   Prior to the Parade, the Chamber will announce the Busch's grocery raffle prize winners with a grand prize totaling $1,000 worth of groceries! All proceeds from the raffle sales help support the winter activities.   Tickets for the grocery raffle can be purchased at Busch's Fresh Food Market.

This year's unique circumstance sees the Treasure Trail put on hold.  Stay tuned for Chamber announcements as we plan our best Winter festivities yet!
