About Us

Heritage Senior Communities is a fourth generation, family-owned and -operated company dedicated to bringing you quality senior housing and licensed assisted living. Based in Grand Haven, MI, Heritage Senior Communities is managed by Heritage Property Management, Inc., founded by Arthur Reenders in 1946.

Even way back then, when HPM was a small construction company, Arthur’s motto was “I won’t build or own anything I wouldn’t live in myself.” That motto still holds true today, more than 70 years later. As HPM continued to grow and expand, Reenders family members started Heritage Senior Communities in an effort to provide comfortable, secure, and affordable housing to Michigan seniors. Following Arthur’s motto, we’ve continued to expand to nine assisted living centers and six senior communities over the past 25 years, each of which we would be proud to live in ourselves.

All of the Reenders family business ventures are guided by our uncompromising core values of honesty, quality, respect, teamwork, potential, and balance. Heritage Senior Communities is no different.
