• Christmas Parade Entry Form

    The SACC cordially invites you to participate in the 44th annual Christmas Parade by creating a float and/or parade unit for all to enjoy at one of SE Michigan's premier holiday events. Please be advised no live Santas are accepted.
    This year's parade is "Parade of Lights" and begins at 5:30p on Saturday, December 7th with line-up beginning at 4:30p. Be advised the parade will be limited to 80 units. All entries must be received by Wednesday, November 26, 2019, at 5 pm. The parade will be held independent from weather, please make sure your entry is ready for all weather conditions.
    Please include entry title and any vehicles accompanying entry unit.
    Please list the specifics of your parade unit. Describe the type of marching/walking group, describe type of music/loud noises, list type of animal, state who is riding in the car. Please be aware animals of any kind need prior approval from SACC and must provide own cleanup crew.
    We will be announcing your parade unit at the Parade Grandstand. Please include information about your entry and/or group to be read aloud by our Parade Emcee, Lucy Ann Lance.
    Indemnification Agreement
    In consideration of acceptance by the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce, we hereby indemnify and hold harmless the SACC, staff & all volunteers from any and all claims for injuries or damages arising from, or in connection with, our participation in the 2019 Saline Christmas parade & "Treasure Trail to Santa" activities. As parade participants, we agree to remain in the designated parade route, keep our group intact and keep any non-parade vehicles outside the parade area after roads are blocked off.
