Area residents and business people are being encouraged to send in nominations and take advantage of the opportunity to recognize their favorite citizens at the “Saline Salutes” Awards.  Applications are now being accepted.  The event is being hosted by the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce in Saline, Michigan and will be held on Friday, March 28th at the Ellen A. Ewing Performing Arts Center at Saline High School.

09.16.2013 – Business Enterprise Awards Honorees Announced

Each year for the last seventeen years the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce has had the pleasure of presenting the Business Enterprise Awards to two exceptional area businesses.  These awards are universally recognized as being the most prestigious honor a business can receive in the greater Saline area market.  This year the award in the 21-or-more employees’ category goes to Flatout, Inc., Mike and Stacey Marsh, owners.  The award recipient in the smaller category of 20-or-fewer employees is DesignHub, Inc., Karen Ragland, Ted Chesky, and Chris Kochmanski, principals.   View full press release here>>

Jeff Dowling, Joy Ely, and Helen Martin will be honored at the 2013 “Saline Salutes” ceremony, it was announced today.  The event is presented by the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce with support from the City of Saline.  Jeff Dowling was selected as Citizens of the Year, Joy Ely will be honored for Lifetime Achievement, and Helen Martin will be presented with the George A. 09.27.2012 – 2012 Business Enterprise Awards Honorees and Sponsor

On Thursday, October 11th the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce will present the 2012 Business Enterprise Award to two exceptional area businesses, Stonebridge Golf Club and Iott Insurance Agency, Inc.  Recognition will also be given to Dianne Atwood, as she is presented with the Chamber’s Initiative Award.  The public is invited to join us in honoring the recipients at the gala awards dinner at Stonebridge Golf Club starting at 6:00 p.m.  Reservations are required by October 8th at a cost of $45 per person. View full press release here
